#STRecruiting Notebook 6-29

USC is in the top five with DE Monteque Rhames of Sumter. The others are Georgia, Michigan, Alabama and NC State. From his previous short list Rhames cut Coastal Carolina, Michigan and UCF. Rhames tweeted recently that his commitment announcement was coming soon, but no date has been announced. Rhames has not taken any official visits, but he’s made multiple unofficial visits to USC this year. He’s also visited NC State and Alabama among the other schools on his list.

LB Jaden Robinson of Lake City, FL named a final four of USC, Kentucky, Maryland and Michigan. This month he took official visits to USC, Kentucky and Maryland. He also visited USC unofficially in January and for the spring game in April.

USC is in the top 6 with WR Daidren Zipperer of Lakeland, FL. The others on his list are UCF, USF, BYU, Pitt and Arkansas State. He has taken official visits to Pitt and UCF and unofficials to USC and BYU.

USC target 2024 QB Dante Reno has set Saturday night at 7:00 PM or his commitment announcement. Reno plans to reveal his decision via CBS Sports HQ. USC is considered a strong favorite as Reno has made four unofficial visits and a camp stop. He was just back in Columbia last Saturday for the Carolina Cookout. Based off his offers, Reno is a national (Tier 1) prospect with other offers from Kentucky, Purdue, Arizona, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Louisville, Wake Forest, NC State, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Virginia and Georgia Tech.

Former Clemson commitment WR Nathaniel Joseph committed to Miami. He took official visits to Louisville and Miami after decomitting from the Tigers.

LB Justin Jefferson of Pearl River JC, who had an offer from USC among others, committed to Alabama.

Ridge View WR Chris Lawson Jr. plans to announce his commitment decision June 30th. His top offers included Louisville, West Virginia, NC State, Wake Forest, Pitt, Duke and Virginia Tech.

Former Clemson commitment INF Brent Gibbs of Spring Valley has committed to the College of Charleston.
