#STRecruiting Notebook 6-21

Tuesday and Wednesday could once again be fruitful recruiting days in the Peach State for Clemson. The Tigers already have five commitments from the state of Georgia, and two more of their targets from that state are set to announce. First up on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM will be DE AJ Hoffler (6-5 240) of College Park. His only official visit was to Clemson June 3rd. Ohio State and North Carolina were two other potential official visits, but they did not happen. Hoffler made unofficial visits to Clemson in January, March and April. Last season he had 52 tackles with 21 tackles for loss and 12 sacks.

Wednesday afternoon DT Stephiylan Greene (6-4 275) of Rome, GA will make his public commitment. He, too made an official visit to Clemson June 3rd, and that appears to be his only visit of the month despite strong overtures from Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama. He also had Tennessee and Ole Miss on his short list. He also made an unofficial visit to Clemson in the spring.

ATH Zack Myers of Arden, NC is set to announce his commitment Friday from a final four of USC, NC State, Virginia Tech and Tennessee. He is coming off an official visit to NC State and the Wolfpack appear to have the inside track. Myers did take an unofficial visit to USC in early April.

One-time Clemson target LB Tony Rojas has set July 5th for his commitment announcement. Clemson appears to be full at the position with two linebackers already committed. Georgia, Penn State and Miami are the others on his short list.

USC offered 2025 ATH Jerel Bolder of Marshville, NC.

Greenville High WR Tyler Brown committed to Minnesota. He took an official visit with the Gophers last weekend.

2024 Dillon OT Josiah Thompson was offered by Georgia.

Clemson offered 6-7 Pryce Sandfort of Waukee, IA. He also has offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Washington State and Drake. He has taken an unofficial visit to Nebraska.
