


Clemson lost a major piece of their 2023 recruiting class Thursday night when TE Reid Mikeska (6-6 233) of Cypress, TX announced a decommitment from the Tigers. The announcement came hours after a report by Adam Friedman of Rivals that Mikeska would be taking a visit to Oklahoma this weekend. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has a long-standing understanding with his commitments that they not take visits to other schools. To do so would require a decommitment. Mikeska also plans to visit Miami next weekend, and he also has set an official visit to Florida for June 17th. In his decommitment tweet, Mikeska said he was reopening his recruiting. He was offered by the Sooners May 5th. Mikeska committed to Clemson April 13th after visiting there in early April. At the time of his commitment, he had a short list of 12 that also included USC, Alabama, Texas Tech, LSU, Miami, Florida, Michigan State, North Carolina, Baylor, Auburn and Tennessee.
WR Noah Rogers of Rolesville, NC Thursday night named his top five as Clemson, Florida State, Ohio State, North Carolina and NC State.
USC made the top eight with WR Daquayvious Sorey. The others are Auburn, Miami, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M and Tennessee.
USC target SAF Jalon Kilgore has set a June 17th official visit with the Gamecocks.
WR Jaden Gatehouse has set his official visit to USC for June 10th. He will visit Texas May 27th, Oklahoma June 3rd and Notre Dame June 24th. Those are his final four choices.
USC target RB Treyaun Webb has set his official visit to Tennessee for June 18th. He has Florida down for June 3rd and USC June 24th.
USC target QB Dylan Lonergan has set his Alabama visit for June 3rd. He has USC set for June 10th and Stanford June 24th. He also plans to visit Ohio State.
USC target LB Justin Jefferson was offered by Texas.
USC 2024 QB target Dante Reno was offered by Minnesota.
Clemson and USC target DE Rico Walker plans to visit Auburn this weekend.

USC offered 2024 WR Tawaski Abrams (5-10 175) of Fort Myers, FL. Last season he had 25 catches for 414 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Clemson offered OT Stanton Ramil (6-7 310) of Alabaster, AL. He also has offers from USC, Arkansas, Maryland, Tennessee and Ole Miss.
Clemson offered RB Jeremiah Cobb (5-11 186) of Montgomery, AL. Some of his other offers are USC, Florida State, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Texas A&M, Penn State, Arkansas, Auburn, Utah, North Carolina, Nebraska and Duke. Clemson was among his visits in the spring. visits.

Oceanside Collegiate OT Monroe Freeling was offered by Alabama.
South Florence QB LaNorris Sellers has been committed to Syracuse but is drawing a lot of attention from others. Notre Dame was in on Thursday. USC, Ohio State, Coastal Carolina and Missouri also have been in to watch him.

Former Charleston Southern QB Jack Chambers is transferring to NC State and will start out as a walk-on.
Blythewood native 6-8 Julian Phillips Thursday announced a commitment to Tennessee. USC was also one of the programs on his short list.
