It’s been an interesting couple of days for Clemson football with the departures of long-time coordinators Brent Venables and Tony Elliott to head coaching positions at Oklahoma and Virginia respectively. Sprinkle in CJ Spiller being enshrined into the National Football Foundation & College “Hall of Fame” and Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney has had little time to concern himself with Clemson’s bowl matchup against Iowa State on December 29th.
Tuesday, Swinney met with the media to recap what he described as one of the best weeks of his life. He laid out the foundation for his new coaching staff and how the roles within the program will be divvied up. Plus, he discussed the Tigers injury news following the second day of bowl practice for the upcoming Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
