Gray Collegiate captured their first state football championship Friday night at Benedict College

Gray Collegiate Academy in Columbia, which has won multiple state basketball championships, can now add its first state football championship to the trophy case. The Eagles blasted Silver Bluff 49-14 Friday night at Benedict College to win the 2A title. Gray rushed for 446 yards led by their 3400-yard rusher KZ Adams. He ran for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns on 33 carries. He averaged 9.4 yards per carry. His backfield mate Trez Robinson rushed for 138 yards and 2 scores.
