Coastal Carolina football will recognize its twenty-eight seniors and “super seniors” on Saturday, as the Chanticleers entertain Texas State at 1pm in Conway. Coastal is coming off its second loss of the season, a 42-40 setback to Georgia State last weekend, which effectively knocked CCU out of a chance to play for the Sun Belt Conference championship on December 4th.
On Wednesday, head coach Jamey Chadwell met with the media to preview Coastal’s fourth all-time meeting with the Bobcats. Chadwell also updated his team’s injury situation, noting that quarterback Grayson McCall has practiced with the team this week but is still questionable for Saturday. McCall missed CCU’s loss to Georgia State with what has been classified as an “upper body” injury. He also touched on his name being circulated as a possible coaching candidate at some of the current openings around the country.
