
The Clemson Tigers pulled another one out of the fire on Saturday as they knocked off Louisville 30-24, thanks to four defensive stops inside the five yard line in the waning moments of the game. The contest also marked the second straight outing in which the Clemson offense was able to generate a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, after doing so against Florida State last weekend.
On Sunday, head coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly teleconference with the media to recap what he called an “amazing” goal line stand by his defense against the Cardinals. He also announced that wide receiver Joseph Ngata will miss the next couple of weeks with a foot injury. When asked what the best case scenario for Ngata’s return might be, Swinney looked ahead to the rivalry matchup with USC.
