
Clemson football bounced back from its season opening loss to Georgia in a big way on Saturday, as the Tigers dispatched SC State 49-3 inside of Memorial Stadium. The Tigers rolled up over five hundred yards of total offense and did not allow an offensive touchdown for a second consecutive week.
Sunday night, Dabo Swinney visited with the media on his weekly conference call. The veteran head coach lavished praise on his defensive unit, especially the starting group. He also discussed how proud he was of his team’s response to the Georgia game, while noting how well they prepared for SC State.
