The “Palmetto Pigskin Tour” braved the elements on Tuesday to visit North Greenville University and check in on the Crusaders. North Greenville had its season canceled last year by Covid-19, so the Crusaders have not stepped on the football field in nearly two years.
NGU competes in one of the toughest Division Two conferences in the country, the Gulf South. That league boasts the reigning D2 National Champions in West Florida, whom the Crusaders will host on October 9th. The season kicks off for NGU on Saturday, September 4th at home against Limestone.
