USC and Presbyterian will represent the state Friday in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Gamecocks were an at-large selection and will be a regional host as a #2 seed. They will play Virginia Friday. The Blue Hose earned an automatic bid by winning the Big South Tournament. They will play Friday at #4 national seed Vanderbilt.
Monday night on SportsTalk, USC coach Mark Kingston and Presbyterian coach Elton Pollock joined us to talk about their teams and their plans for the regionals.
Of course, I want the Gamecocks to win, but it would also be nice if PC won as one of my Greats helped found the place.
