USC football coach Shane Beamer has had a couple of weeks to assess his first spring practice with the Gamecocks, he told the SportsTalk audience Wednesday night he’s generally pleased with the overall state of his team. Yes, there are some areas of needs still to be addressed, but Beamer said he saw a lot ot like. Beamer also talked about the impact on his players of his positive nature, what he’s expecting in the June recruiting period and how he’ll handle hs first appearance at SEC Media Days in July.
