Big second half rallies #Clemson past Florida State 77-67 (AUDIO)

Clemson guards Nick Honor and Al-Amir Dawes combined for 24 second half points, after being held scoreless in the first half, to rally Clemson to a 77-67 win over Florida State Tuesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Tigers improve to 1-1 in the ACC and 7-1 overall. The Tigers hit 50% of their second half shots and outscored the Seminoles by 15 points. After going a combined 0-7 from the floor in the first half, Honor and Dawes hit 7-11 second half shots.

The game was tied at 54 with 7:50 to play. The Tigers then went on a 12-3 run with Honor scoring 7 of the points for a 66-57 lead with 5:11 left. The Seminoles could get no closer than 6 points the rest of the way as they hit just 4 of their final 10 shots.

Clyde Trapp led Clemson with 15 points. Honor added 13 and Dawes 11. The Tigers had 19 offensive rebounds, 49 total, and 14 second chance points. They also forced 17 turnovers but managed 6 points off those.

The Tigers play at Miami Saturday.
