#STRecruiting Notebook 9-28

Andrew Mukuba

One of Clemson’s remaining major targets for the 2021 class, SAF Andrew Mukuba (5-11 181) of Austin, TX will announce his college commitment Thursday. Mukuba said he chose from a final four of Clemson, Texas, LSU and Missouri. In his game Friday night Mukuba had a 55 yard interception return for a touchdown. Last season Mukuba had 26 tackles with 2 interceptions. He also plays receiver and caught 33 passes for 641 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s rated as a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite and is ranked as the #12 safety nationally.

USC football and basketball target TE Michael Trigg of Lake Wales, FL plans to announce his commitment October 11th. He has USC, LSU and Southern Cal in his final three. He plans to play both sports in college. Last season Trigg caught 82 passes for 1232 yards and 16 touchdowns. Trigg is rated as a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He’s ranked the #6 tight end in the country and the #20 prospect in Florida.

Clemson target DE Korey Foreman of Corona, CA made another non-sanctioned unofficial visit to LSU Saturday.  He made a similar visit to LSU with other recruits earlier this month. He has also visited Georgia during the pandemic. Those are three of his favorites along with Clemson, Southern Cal and Oregon. And now that Foreman has decided to play his senior season of football after January, and thus won’t be graduating early, he doesn’t have to rush his decision again as he felt he did the first time he committed to Clemson. He may even have a chance to take some official visits in early 2021.

One-time Clemson target WR Jalil Farooq of Upper Marlboro, MD committed to Oklahoma.

New Jackson State coach Deion Sanders offered DT Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins of Gaffney. He recently said he had made his college decision from USC, Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. Ingram-Dawkins had four sacks in his opening game last Friday.

Hartsville native RB Tiyon Evans of Hutchinson JC, KS was offered by Liberty. He decommitted from Tennessee last week.
