USC target WR Malachi Bennett of Fairfield, AL has moved his commitment date from August 28th to a week from Friday. He has a top five of USC, Ole Miss, Georgia, Louisville and UAB. The Gamecocks and Ole Miss seem to be strongest with him at this point.
Gaffney DT Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, who has had USC on his short list, plans to release a new short list this weekend. The others on his current list are Tennessee, Florida State, Penn State, Georgia and North Carolina. He also has offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Michigan, Virginia Tech, LSU and others.
Clemson offered 2022 DE Shemar Stewart (6-5 236) of Opa Locka, FL. He’s rated as a five star prospect by 247Sports and ranked #2 nationally in the class. He’s also ranked as the #1 defensive end in his class and the #1 prospect in Florida. USC also has offered as have Power 5 schools from across the country. Last season he had 48 tackles and 15 sacks.
USC offered 2022 OT Daughtry Richardson (6-5 260) of Miami. He’s rated a 3-star by 247Sports and the #31 OT nationally in his class. Florida State and Tennessee also have offered.
2022 SAF Jeadyn Lukus of Mauldin was offered by Mississippi State.
6-3 Robert McCray of AC Flora committed to Wake Forest.
Clemson target 6-8 Ian Schieffelin of Loganville, GA was offered by Virginia Tech.
LHP Wyatt Evans of JL Mann committed to Tennessee.
