Clay Hendrix has come in and revitalized the football program at his alma mater. In three seasons at Furman, Hendrix has taken the Paladins to the FCS Playoffs twice, and he won a share of the Southern Conference championship in 2018. He’s gone 22-14 in his three seasons. Like everyone in college football, Hendrix has been dealing with the shutdown due to the pandemic, yet he’s hopeful the 2020 season can be played as scheduled. Earlier this month Hendrix joined us on SportsTalk to talk about how he’s handling things now, and about the future.
