TE/DE AJ Beatty of Pittsburgh, a USC target, was offered by Virginia.
Carolina Forest QB Mason Garcia was offered by Appalachian State.
College basketball writer Jeff Goodman reported Clemson is among the schools being considering by 6-6 Stoney Brook transfer Akwasi Yeboah. He’s already visited Rutgers and will visit SMU and TCU this week. Arkansas and Marquette also are on his list. The native of England averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game. In a win over USC last season, Yeboah scored 24 points and had 11 rebounds.
USC basketball coaches were at Ridge View Wednesday checking on 2020 6-8 Ja’Von Benson and 2021 PG Tyler Rice. Benson sat out last season after transferring from Westwood.
