



Ole Miss key players:
Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss: He took the league by storm in his first season, stepping in when the original starter, Austin Simmons, suffered an ankle injury and never gave the job back. Chambliss went on to become the SEC Newcomer of the Year after arriving from D2 Ferris State. He was also named 2nd Team All-SEC. He passed for 3937 yards with 22 touchdowns and three interceptions. He also ran for 527 yards and eight touchdowns. He was a finalist for the Manning Award and a semi-finalist for the Maxwell and O’Brien awards, and for the Walter Camp Player of the Year award.
Running Back Kewan Lacy: Lacy was a horse out of the backfield for the Rebels last season with 306 attempts for 1567 yards and 24 touchdowns, all single-season program records. He was named First Team All-SEC and First Team All-America by the FWAA. The AP named him a Second Team All-America.
Suntarine Perkins: Perkins is the leading returning tackler after totaling 81 stops last season. He led the defense with 4.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss. He recorded seven tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in the CFP semi-final game loss to Miami.
