



Mississippi State Bulldogs top players:
Quarterback KaMario Taylor: Twice was named the Freshman of the Week last season as he took over the starting job in the last two weeks. He only attempted 77 passes, but had 629 passing yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 458 yards and eight touchdowns. He played in 11 games last season and started two.
Wide Receiver Anthony Evans: After arriving from Georgia after two seasons with those Bulldogs in which he caught 13 passes, Evans emerged as one of the SEC’s top receivers last season with 67 catches for 831 yards and four touchdowns. He also averaged over 13 yards per punt return. He had 18 plays of 20 yards or more.
Safety Isaac Smith: Has 206 career tackles after 33 career games with the Bulldogs. Smith plays a hybrid safety/linebacker role, and last season earned Second Team All-SEC honors from PFSN. He had 64 tackles with one sack and one pick. He missed the bowl game last season with an injury.
