Clemson defeated Coastal Carolina 8-5 Wednesday night at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in a meeting of top 20 teams.  Here’s what Monte Lee and a few of his players had to say to the media following the victory.

Clemson wrapped up the first portion of spring practice with a major scrimmage inside Death Valley Wednesday afternoon.  The Tigers are now off on their spring break.  They will hold their pro day on Thursday morning.  Following Wednesday’s scrimmage, head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media to discuss what transpired inside Memorial Stadium.

The USC football team is on spring break this week so head coach Will Muschamp has the chance to take stock of where things stand after five practices.  He updated us on a number of issues with his team in an interview Wednesday night on SportsTalk.

USC basketball coach Frank Martin met with the media Tuesday as a lead into the SEC Tournament.  His team doesn’t play until Friday and he doesn’t know the opponent to Martin had the chance to talk about other things, like his players who earned SEC honors Tuesday and what his team must do in Nashville

WR Rakim Jarrett of Washington, DC, who has Clemson among his offers,  tweeted Monday night he plans a commitment soon.  He was at Tennessee Friday and tweeted afterwards he would be back in Knoxville in three weeks.  He’s also mentioned Ohio State, Southern Cal, Florida, LSU and Alabama as others under consideration.
