- Wahlin led Clemson with a career high of 17 points. Welling and Ace Buckner had 13 points each. Welling led the Tigers on the boards with seven rebounds.
- It was another poor offensive night for Dillon Hunter, who has been stuck in a miserable slump. He took only three shots, making one, which was a three-pointer, to finish with three points. In his last six games, Hunter is 5-24 from the floor and has scored just 15 points.

- Wake has won three in a row and is now 14-12 and 5-8. The Deacons will play at Virginia Tech on Saturday.
