  • Clemson guard Jestin Porter finished with a season-high 26 points and a career-high five steals.
  • RJ Godfrey added 16 points, while Carter Welling had 14.
  • Clemson’s bench was surprisingly quiet, recording just 8 points; 5 from Ace Buckner and 3 from Nick Davidson.
  • Notre Dame shot 33% from the field in the second half (8-of-24), scoring just 27 points in the period.
  • The Tigers forced 14 Notre Dame turnovers and scored 18 points off of those miscues.
  • The victory was Clemson’s 7th in a row and 2nd straight versus Notre Dame.
  • It was also Clemson’s 11th consecutive ACC road victory, extending the program record.
  • 2nd straight year that the Tigers have started ACC play at 4-0, also a program first.
  • Notre Dame wore black and gold jerseys that featured a script “The Bend” in gold across the chest. According to Notre Dame, the uniform pays tribute to the characteristics and history of South Bend.
  • Clemson improves to 14-3 and 4-0 in the ACC; tied for 1st place with Duke. The Tigers host Boston College on Tuesday at 7pm.
