Five senior standouts named finalists for South Carolina Mr. Football for the 2025 season

 The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl has announced the five finalists for the South Carolina Mr. Football award. All five players will be recognized on Saturday, December 13, at halftime of the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl, where the 2025 Mr. Football award recipient will be introduced. 

The finalists are:  

Kentavion Anderson – Dorman High School

Safety

Committed to Clemson University

J’Zavien Currence – South Pointe High School

Safety

Committed to the University of South Carolina

Zyon Guiles – Carvers Bay High School

Offensive Lineman

Committed to the University of South Carolina

Zamaurious Robertson – Dillon High School

Wide Receiver

Committed to the University of North Carolina

Tamarion Watkins – Northwestern High School

Safety

Committed to Texas A&M University

South Carolina’s electric cooperatives are the primary sponsors of the Mr. Football award and the Touchstone Energy Cooperative Bowl. The South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association organizes the event and is responsible for the selection of South Carolina’s Mr. Football award.
