Former South Carolina offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains may be entering his first season as the head coach at Appalachian State, but he hasn’t totally forgotten about the Gamecocks. Indeed, he is confident that USC quarterback LaNorris Sellers is poised for a significant season.
“I think you’re talking about the best player in college football,” Loggains said of Sellers on Wednesday. “I believe that with all my heart. He is special. I think he’s going to keep getting better and better.”
In New Orleans for Sun Belt “Media Days,” the new boss of the Mountaineers dropped by to discuss his relationship with Sellers and to preview his new gig in Boone.
Most S Carolina fans never appreciated what a good play caller D Lo was at our place. Look back at 23 & 24 seasons late game explosive plays…deep shots set up over the course of game. Totally outclassed some really good def coord where he schemed up….the shuffle pass call vs Mizzou….takes alotta guts call good plays like that. Wish D Lo all the best at App St ..think he will do great ! Shula got big shoes fill as playcaller
