Former Georgia Tech RHP Connor Chicoli (6-3 185) is transferring to South Carolina. As a freshman last season, he was 1-1 with a 5.46 ERA in 14 appearances, 5 of them starts. He struck out 18 and walked 5 in 28 innings. He’s the 15th acquisition from the Portal by the Gamecocks this offseason, the eighth pitcher and the sixth right hander. The Gamecocks also have seven junior college transfers in the 2025 class including two pitchers, one from each side.
