The Southeastern Conference announced each school’s conference opponents for the upcoming 2026 men’s basketball season on Wednesday. Eight of South Carolina’s nine home games will be against teams that made the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
The Gamecocks will face Georgia (permanent two-game opponent), Florida (permanent two-game opponent) and LSU twice, playing every other team in the league once.
In addition to the three games against the Bulldogs, Gators and Tigers, the home portion of the schedule features games against Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. The matchup with the Sooners will be the first between the two schools at Colonial Life Arena.
The Gamecocks will face Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M on the road. Carolina’s road trip to Austin to face the Longhorns will be just the second ever in program history and first since Jan. 23, 1982.
Conference play will begin on Saturday, January 3, and runs through Saturday, March 7.
The SEC Tournament returns to Nashville, Tenn., as Bridgestone Arena will host the event from March 11-15, 2026.
