CB KJ Johnson of Birmingham will make his commitment announcement on Monday at around Noon Eastern Time. Johnson is coming off an official visit to West Virginia over the weekend. He visited USC the previous weekend, and his decision came down to the Gamecocks and the Mountaineers.
Clemson offered 2027 QB Peyton Houston (6-0 200) of Shreveport, LA, following his participation in camp on Sunday. Houston set a Louisiana 5A state record last season with 4480 passing yards with 38 touchdowns and six interceptions. That included a state record 817 yards in a single game. He also rushed for 690 yards and seven touchdowns. He completed 70% of his pass attempts. As you might expect, his offer sheet is off the charts. Louisville, Auburn, Colorado, Baylor, Mississippi State, Georgia, Purdue, Tennessee, TCU, Texas, Pitt, Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Ole Miss, Florida State, Arkansas and Arizona are just some of his offers.
Transfer reliever right-hander Josh Gunther of Wake Forest committed to South Carolina. This season, Gunther was 1-3 with fur saves and 3.41 ERA in 26 appearances. He had 47 strikeouts in 29 innings, and teams hit .194 against him. He allowed one home run, and that was the only extra-base hit against him all season. Gunther is the fifth transfer right-hander for the Gamecocks in their 2025 class.
2027 OT Maxwell Hiller (6-6 295) of Coatesville, PA was offered by Clemson on Sunday following a camp outing. Hiller called the offer his “Dream Offer.” Hiller also has offers from South Carolina, Purdue, Auburn, Wisconsin, North Carolina, LSU, Georgia, Georgia, Oregon, Southern Cal, Nebraska, Miami, Indiana, Florida State and Tennessee among others. He will camp at USC Monday.
2028 DE Asher Ghioto (6-5 240) of Jacksonville camped at Clemson over the weekend.
2028 QB Grayson Clary (6-2 180), formerly of Daniel and now in Rabun Gap, GA, will camp at South Carolina on Monday.
2027 OL Brady Hull (6-3 285) of Pulaski, KY will camp at South Carolina Monday.

2027 WR Darius Carter, formerly of Ridge View, camped at Florida State Sunday. He will be at Florida on Monday.
2027 RB David Segarra of Byrnes camped at Florida State over the weekend.
2027 Catawba Ridge CB Joshua Dobson will visit Texas A&M this week.
Former South Carolina commitment CB Peyton Dyer of Duluth, GA has committed to Southern Cal.
South Carolina offered 2027 6-5 Frashad Tisby of Augusta. His team was in for a team camp at USC over the weekend. Tisby also has offers from Presbyterian and Tennessee Tech.
