South Carolina Thursday offered 2027 RB Aiden Gibson (6-1 203) of Woodruff while he was in for a visit. He has also been offered by Virginia Tech and Liberty and has visited both this spring. Last season Gibson rushed for 1555 yards and 24 touchdowns.
OT Canon Pickett of Tampa set official visits to Clemson May 30th, Florida June 13th and Miami June 20th. Pickett also visited Clemson for their March 8th junior day. He was offered by practically all of the P4 programs in the country.
Clemson target LB Tyler Atkinson will visit Ohio State this weekend. He visited Clemson March 8th.
South Carolina target DE Rodney Dunham of Charlotte committed to Notre Dame.
DT Aiden Harris of Weddington, NC made a visit to South Carolina on Wednesday. The Gamecocks are recruiting Harris along with is twin brother Andrew, a defensive end who did not make this visit but has been in previously. Aiden also visited USC in January. He has also been to NC State and is scheduled to visit Auburn April 12th. He has official visits set with Penn State May 30th, USC June 6th, Auburn June 13th and NC State June 20th. He and his brother plan to sign with the same program.
South Carolina target Brian Harris made some adjustments to official visits according to Rivals. Stanford and USC remain the same on May 16th and May 30th respectively. Oklahoma is June 6th, Auburn June 10th, Michigan June 13th, Mississippi State June 17th and Penn State June 20th.
SAF KJ Johnson plans to visit South Carolina again on Saturday. He also visited USC on March 18th. He’s also been to Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Florida and Alabama.

SAF Zeke Marshall (6-6 200), formerly of Westside and now at Rabun Gap, GA visited Kentucky Wednesday. Clemson has been involved, and he visited for the spring game and in early March. Virginia Tech, Kentucky and West Virginia are his major offers. He has an official visit set with Virginia Tech for June 20th. He plans to visit Georgia this Saturday.
South Carolina and Clemson target RB Carsyn Baker visited Ohio State Wednesday and the Buckeyes are now being reported as the favorite.

South Carolina State DE Ashaad Hall is transferring per Pete Nakos. He earned FCS All-American honors last season with 14 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.
Jamie Shaw of On3 reported Boston College transfer forward 6-8 Eddie Strong will visit South Carolina this weekend. This season Strong averaged 10 points and four rebounds per game. He’s a native of Charlotte.
According to On3 Sports Transfer Portal, former South Carolina forward Nick Pringle may be headed to Arkansas.
Former South Carolina center Josh Gray is transferring from Missouri per Pete Nakos. He started his career at LSU.

Clemson women added DePaul transfer 5-9 Taylor Johnson-Matthews. She averaged 14.5 points per game this season. She’s the fourth transfer taken in by the Clemson women joining 6-2 Demeara Hinds of Wake Forest, 5-7 Rachel Rose of Wofford and 6-0 Rusnae Augustiniate of Georgia Tech.
South Carolina will get a visit from Utah transfer 6-0 Gianna Kneepken according to Tailia Goodman. She averaged 19 points per game this season. She will also visited Texas, Oklahoma and UCLA.
6-1 RJ Johnson is transferring from Charleston Southern to Rhode Island. He averaged 14 points per game this season per Jon Rothstein.
