STRecruiting Notebook 3-11: Well, Clemson’s not going to get ’em all; Tigers offer another Florida corner

Clemson was on a heater when it came to commitments from offensive linemen landing three of their top targets since Friday. But another one they really wanted got away. Monday night OT Maxwell Riley (6-5 270) of Avon Lake, OH announced a commitment to Ohio State. Riley had narrowed his decision to the Tigers and Buckeyes, and he said in his social media post that being from Ohio, it had always been his dream to play for the Buckeyes.

CB Danny Odem (6-2 183) of Orlando was offered by Clemson last week while in for a visit. He also has offers from Indiana, Missouri, UNLV, Tulane, Louisville, Southern Miss, Michigan State, East Caolina, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Baylor, Purdue, Maryland, West Virginia, NC State, Wisconsin, Miami, Florida, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Florida State, Syracuse and others. He has scheduled official visits with Miami June 6th and with Vanderbilt June 13th. He visited Miami on March 3rd.

2027 SAF Kennedy Green (6-2 195) of Douglasville, GA plans a spring visit to South Carolina on March 27th. He told Rivals he will also visit North Carolina March 18th, Georgia March 22nd and Ohio State April 12th.

Clemson target LB Tyler Atkinson will visit Georgia Tuesday. He was at Clemson Saturday.

Clemson and South Carolina target WR Ryan Mosley of Carrollton, GA will visit Georgia Tuesday. He was at Clemson Saturday, and he also plans to visit the Gamecocks this spring.

6-4 Joshua Meo of Coastal Carolina is transferring per PDTScouting. The junior from Orlando averaged 8.5 points and 2.2 assists per game this season.

6-2 RJ Johnson of Charleston Southern is transferring per Jamie Shaw of On3. He averaged 13.8 points and 4.5 assists this season. He started his career at Holy Cross and has scored 1,001 career points.
