#STRecruiting Notebook 1-6: Transfer RB to visit #Gamecocks; Alabama transfer set to visit #Clemson

South Carolina is set to get a visit Tuesday from Utah State RB Rahsul Faison according to Pete Nakos of On3.  Faison has also visited North Carolina,  Florida State, Alabama and Utah.  Thus season he rushed for 1109 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Former Alabama linebacker/defensive end Jeremiah Alexander is scheduled to visit Clemson Tuesday according to Hayes Fawcett of On3. Alexander had Clemson as a finalist coming out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, AL three years ago when he signed with the Crimson Tide. He was a teammate of current Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods. Alexander visited Auburn over the weekend and is also down for visits to Oklahoma and Ole Miss. Alexander has not lived up to his recruiting him to this point of his career. In three seasons with Alabama, he played in 28 games and totaled nine tackles and no sacks.

Former USC reserve quarterback Robby Ashford announced Sunday he signed with Wake Forest. This will be the fourth college stop for Ashford who has also attended Oregon and Auburn. He played sparingly this season as the backup to LaNorris Sellers.

Former Clemson receiver Troy Stellato has narrowed the decision for his new school to Kentucky, West Virginia and Michigan according to Pete Nakos of On3. Michigan has already taken one former Tiger in defensive tackle Tre’ Williams.

Former Miami WR Robby Washington (5-11 180) is transferring to Coastal Carolina.  In two seasons with the Hurricanes, he caught two passes for 27 yards.

ESPN reported Georgia QB Jaden Rashada plans to enter the Transfer Portal. Rashada originally signed with Florida but sued head coach Billy Napier and the Florida NIL organization that signed him claiming breach of contract. He then signed with Arizona State and was there for a year before transferring to Georgia. He’s played in three games in his career, all at Arizona State. He’s passed for 485 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions.
