#STRecruiting: Irmo WR Donovan Murph announces his plans for making his college commitment

Irmo WR Donovan Murph (6-3 180) has chosen a national all-star game for announcing his college football commitment. Murph, of course, reclassified from the 2026 class to 2025. He was not chosen for the Shrine Bowl or the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl games here in South Carolina, but he has accepted an offer to the Under Armour All-American Game January 2nd in Deland, FL. The game will kick off at 4:00 PM.

Murph has taken an official visit to USC and has attended several other games at Williams-Brice Stadium this season.; He is planning to make an official visit to Clemson this weekend. He has also been to Clemson for unofficial visits.

It would appear, at least at this point, that Murph is deciding between the Gamecocks and the Tigers. However, Georgia has also been looming. He has the Bulldogs on his short list. The others are Ole Miss, Colorado, Florida State, Tennessee, Ohio State, Florida, Oregon, Maryland and Penn State.

Outside of USC and Clemson, his only other game visit this season has been to Alabama.

Through ten games this season Murph had 74 catches for 991 yards and six touchdowns.
