
Despite being as much as a two touchdown underdog to top-ranked Georgia Saturday in Atlanta, optimism remains high among Clemson players and coaches. The Tigers seem to be at their best when the college football world is against them.
Few, if any, national pundits will pick them to upset the Bulldogs. But Clemson is healthy, except for one cornerback spot, and experienced is most areas of the team. The Tigers are pointing towards playing their best football right out of the gate, and they feel that would be good enough to shock the world Saturday in the ATL.
Earlier this week, offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin met with the media for their final thoughts on the team and the matchup with Georgia.
