CHARLOTTE: NC State head coach Dave Doeren led off the final day of the ACC Kickoff, Thursday. Doeren is entering his 12th season at the helm of the Wolfpack, placing him just behind Clemson’s Dabo Swinney in terms of ACC tenure. NC State is coming off its fourth straight winning season, having finished ranked 21st in both major polls after a 9-4 (6-2) campaign in 2023. The biggest storyline surrounding the program entering 2024 is the addition of Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall. McCall had his 2023 season cut short due to injury but expects to be at full strength for the Wolfpack’s Aug. 29th opener against Western Carolina. The Pack will get tested the following week when they square off with Tennessee in Charlotte on Sept. 7th.
