Louisville WR Ahmari Huggins-Bruce (5-11 170), a Dillon native, is transferring, and he reported an offer from USC Sunday. He also set an official visit with the Gamecocks for Friday. Huggins-Bruce also landed offers from Tulane, Minnesota, Liberty, Colorado State and UCF. Huggins caught 80 passes for 1181 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career with Cardinals. Huggins-Bruce played in all three seasons at Louisville and will have two seasons to play one.
TCU transfer CB Chandler Morris (6-0 190) said Sunday he will take an official visit to USC this week with the date to be determined. Morris is the son of former Arkansas and SMU head coach, former Clemson offensive coordinator and current Clemson analyst Chad Morris. He spent one season at Oklahoma before transferring to TCU and redshirting in 2021. He played the last two seasons with the Horned Frogs leaving him two seasons of eligibility. In his career he has passed for 2394 yards and 16 touchdowns with five interceptions. In high school Morris passed for 7694 yards and 88 touchdowns and rushed for 37 touchdowns.
Louisiana transfer QB Zeon Chriss also plans to visit the Gamecocks this week. Chris Hummer of 247Sports reported he will also visit UCF.
Miami of Ohio transfer wide receiver Gage Larvadain told On3Sports he’s scheduled visits to Tulane and South Carolina for this week. He also picked up an offer from Cal. He’s a native of Donaldsonville, LA who played one season for the RedHawks after transferring from Southeastern Louisiana. This season he caught 42 passes for 679 yards and six touchdowns, including one touchdown catch of 99 yards. He averaged over 16 yards per catch.
Matt Zenitz of 247Sports reported Sunday Troy transfer R Jabre Barber (5-10 175) will visit USC, Kansas State, Texas A&M and Florida State.
USC target James Madison transfer WR Elijah Sarratt has added offers from Cal, Kansas State and Wisconsin since his earlier offers last week.
USC is in the top eight with Mississippi State transfer OT Percy Lewis (6-8 345). He played two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast JC and two seasons at Mississippi State. He started eight games this season. The others in his top eight are Auburn, Cal, Memphis, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida State and Georgia.
Princeton transfer OT Jalen Travis, who has been offered by USC, was offered by Northwestern.
Former USC QB Colten Gauthier was offered by Gardner-Webb.
Pete Thamel reported that former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is now Florida State’s top target as a transfer from Oregon State. Uiagalelei visited FSU in December. Thamel reported the decision is down to Florida State or the NFL.
UNLV WR Senika McKie, a product of Ridge View, entered the portal. He had 264 yards receiving this season.
Newberry WR Andre Banks (6-0 205) is transferring to The Citadel. He’s a Summerville product. At Newberry, he had 55 catches for 782 yards and 3 touchdowns in 28 games.
USC is in the top 10 with TE Marshall Pritchett of Charleston and Rabun Gap, GA. The other are Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Miami, Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Auburn.
USC target LB Mantrez Walker of Buford, GA has set an unofficial visit to LSU for January 20th. South Carolina is in his top 12.
USC target RB Bo Jackson of Euclid, OH was offered by Miami.
USC women’s target 5-6 Jaloni Cambridge of Nashville committed Friday to Ohio State.
USC offered 2026 6-2 Marcus Johnson of Garfield Heights, OH. He’s a cousin of current USC guard Meechie Johnson and is regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2026 class.
