Thursday was a day for practice and public service for the Shrine Bowl teams. The teams had their last major workout of the week in preparation for Saturday afternoon’s game at Spartanburg High School. They also made the annual visit to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Greenville. That’s always the highlight of the week for the players and the coaches. The game of course is important, but the cause is even greater.
