Things are going well for Brad Brownell and the Clemson men’s basketball team. On Saturday, the Tigers’ head coach picked up his 250th win at Clemson with a 74-66 victory over TCU. On Monday, his team’s 9-0 start was rewarded by both the AP and the coaches.
Clemson moved up eleven spots to #13 in this week’s AP rankings. It’s the biggest jump by any team in that poll and is even better than the nine-spot move that the Tigers made to 11th in this week’s coaches’ poll. Arizona and Kansas are one-two in each of the rankings.
Clemson is off for a few days before traveling to Memphis to face another ambush of Tigers on Saturday afternoon. Tip time is set for 3 p.m.
