Placekicker Jonathan Weitz had a night to remember with three field goals (TigerNet)

Clemson turned up the defensive pressure Saturday night in Columbia chasing USC quarterback Spencer Rattler all over the field, with the defense actually scoring as many points as the USC offense in the 16-7 victory. The Tigers held the Gamecocks to an all-time low under Shane Beamer of 169 total yards. Meantime, the Tigers had enough of a running game to move into position for three Jonathan Weitz field goals as they won a game without an offensive touchdown for the first time since 2014.

Following the game, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney along with quarterback Cade Klubnik, wide receiver Tyler Brown, safety Khalil Barnes and placekicker Jonathan Weitz met with the media.
