#STRecruiting: New #Clemson basketball signee Ace Buckner joins us on SportsTalk (AUDIO)

Ace Buckner hopes to wear #21, his dad’s number, at Clemson

The Clemson basketball program gets a redo with the Buckner family in the form of 6-1 Ace Buckner of Laporte, IN. He’s the son of former Clemson start Greg Buckner who is currently an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Ace Buckner has had a lifetime full of Clemson basketball moments through his dad, and now he’ll get to make some of his own. Greg Buckner came to Clemson as a defensive stopper, and he developed his offense game as he went along. Ace, whose legal name is Greg Buckner Jr., is more advanced at this stage offensively compared to his father and doesn’t shy away from the defensive side of the game either.

Thursday Ace Buckner joined us on SportsTalk where he talked first about the chance to follow in his father’s footsteps at Clemson.
