This December will mark the end of a career in athletics for David Bennett. After forty years of coaching and working in administration, Bennett will retire as the AD for Lexington School District One after one more month on the job. Bennett made his name as a college coach at Catawba and Coastal Carolina where he won a combined 126 games. He was the first coach in the history of the Chanticleer program.
Last week, Bennett joined us on SportsTalk to discuss some of the highlights of his career, including the viral video 12 years ago that has been viewed over 2.5 million times.
