Like most college quarterbacks, Clemson starter Cade Klubnik carries a lot of weight on his shoulders. And despite his team’s 17-12 victory over Wake Forest on October 7th, Klubnik did not believe he performed well, calling the game one of the worst of his career. So he was especially excited to have a week off to recharge the batteries and get back to work.
“Kinda what I said last week, we’ve got to take advantage of this week,” Klubnik said, speaking of their bye week. “I think that we really did that, and we kinda got after it. We didn’t let a day get wasted. My hope is we get to play these next six games with no regrets.”
The sophomore from Austin, Texas, met with the media on Monday as the Tigers got into game-week prep for Miami. Kickoff on Saturday from Miami Gardens, Florida, is set for 8pm on the ACC Network.
