#Clemson basketball coach Brad Brownell previews the new season (AUDIO)

Senior forward PJ Hall will be back to lead Clemson this season (TigerNet)

Last basketball season was one of the best in Clemson history. The Tigers won 23 games, including a program record 14 in the ACC. Yet, that was not good enough to earn them an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. So, Brad Brownell, about to commence his 14th season as the Tigers’ head coach, has to deal with the “hot seat” takes in the media.

The Tigers will feature senior forward PJ Hall who is healthy for the first time in his career after battling a series of foot and leg injuries. Other returning veterans include Chase Hunter, Alex Hemenway, Ian Schieffelin, Chauncey Wiggins and RJ Godfrey. Veteran added in the offseason were Joe Girard, Jack Clark, Bas Leyte and Jake Heidbreder.

The biggest loss from last season was All-ACC forward Hunter Tyson who is now with the Denver Nuggets. Tyson averaged over 15 points and nine rebounds per game last season.
