AP voters drop #Clemson from the top 25

Clemson QB Cade Klubnik has work to do to get Tigers back in AP Top 25 (Sideline Carolina)

For the first time since October 3rd, 2021, Clemson is not in the AP Top 25 ending a streak of 21 straight weeks in the ranking. The Tigers received enough votes in this week’s poll of writers to finish 26th, 20 points behind #25 Iowa. The Tigers opened the season ranked 9th and then dropped to 25th after their loss to Duke. The voters apparently were not inspired by the Tigers’ performance in the win over Charleston Southern. USC did not receive any votes this week.

Clemson is ranked 22nd this week in the poll of college football coaches, and USC received enough votes to total three points.
