A mid-afternoon thunderstorm forced the South Carolina football team to practice in the Spurrier indoor facility Friday afternoon. The media was allowed in for the first five periods. Not seen at practice during that time were tight end Trey Knox and receiver Juice Wells. Also, linebacker Pup Howard and defensive end Terrell Dawkins were not participating in drills. The Gamecocks will hold their first major scrimmage of camp Saturday afternoon at Williams-Brice Stadium.
