Newberry College was the Wednesday night stop on the Palmetto Pigskin Tour, and there’s a lot going on around the Wolves these days. Coach Todd Knight is going into his 16th season as the head coach and has won 24 games over the last three seasons, including the six game Covid spring schedule of 2021. The Wolves have won back-to-back SAC championships and, with 18 starters returning, are favored to three-peat this season.

Wednesday night we sat down with Coach Knight along with running back Tommy Washington (Spartanburg High) and LB AJ Valentine (Strom Thurmond) to preview the 2023 season which begins for the Wolves September 2nd at Shippensburg of Pennsylvania.
