#STRecruiting Notebook 6-26

2025 QB Will Wilson (6-0 195) of Richland Northeast announced over the weekend a commitment to NC State. Wilson is regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in the state for his class. He also holds offers from USC, Penn State, Duke, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, TCU, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina and others. Last season Wilson passed for 1797 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 705 yards and 14 scores.

WR Jyron Waiters of Wilson committed to East Carolina.

Marion DB Ty Sanders plans to announce his commitment Monday at 3:00 PM. He’s choosing from Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Old Dominion, James Madison and Akron.

ATH Troy Stevenson of Phillip Simmons plans to announce his commitment on July 9th. His top five are Miami, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and Tennessee.

USC target SAF Jalewis Solomon will name a top five on Monday. He took an official visit to Florida State over the weekend. He also made officials to USC and Kentucky.

USC target DT Nnamdi Ogboko committed to Georgia.

One time USC target RB Anthony Carrie committed to Michigan State.

DE Dominic Nichols of Oakdale, MD, who had Clemson and USC in his final nine, committed to Michigan.

DE CJ Jackson of Tucker, GA committed to Georgia Tech. At one-time he was a Clemson target and USC also showed interest as well.

2025 RB Justin Baker of Buford, GA visited USC Saturday. He also visited in April. His offers include Alabama, NC State, Pitt and Ole Miss.

DT Ben Britton (6-3 270) of Oceanside Collegiate committed to Army.

USC basketball coach Lamont Paris offered 2025 6-9 Trent Steinour of Huntersville, NC. He also has offers from Clemson, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Charlotte, Radford and High Point.

USC women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley offered 2026 5-10 Saniyah Hall of Lorain, OH.

Rudy Jones of Palmetto Baseball reported Clemson catcher Hogan Garner is transferring to the College of Charleston.
