USC baseball coach Mark Kingston is taking the Gamecocks to a Super Regional for the second time in his five full seasons. The Gamecocks won their own regional Sunday, and they will play at Florida this weekend for the right to go to Omaha for the first time since 2012.
The NCAA announced on Tuesday morning that the Florida Super Regional would begin on Friday and run through Sunday. Friday’s game is set for 6pm on ESPN2. Saturday’s contest will start at 3pm on ESPN2, and Sunday’s, if necessary, game is TBD.
