6-5 Sakima Walker of NW Florida State JC committed to USC Friday. Walker made an official visit to USC in April. She also visited Ole Miss. She was the national junior college player of the year last season. Last season Walker averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game. She shot 60% from the floor and 75% from the line. She began her career at Rutgers and should have at least two seasons of eligibility remaining counting the free season for Covid. She gives Dawn Staley five newcomers for her 2023 class.
6-1 DePaul transfer Aneesah Morrow will not be taking her official visit with USC according to Prep Girls Hoops. She’s expected to commit to LSU.
Clemson offered 2025 6-9 Trent Steinour of Hendersonville, NC. He also has offers from Wake Forest, Charlotte and Radford.
Former USC forward Daniel Hankins-Sanford is transferring to UMass to play for Frank Martin who originally recruited him to USC.
6-11 Michael Marsh, who prepped at Gray Collegiate, is transferring to Oklahoma State from Jacksonville University.
RB Logan Diggs (6-0 200) of Notre Dame entered the Transfer Portal April 27th, and multiple USC coaches are showing interest via social media. Alabama has as well. He’s a native of Louisiana and LSU is expected to be involved. Diggs rushed for 822 yards and 4 touchdowns last season. He had 114 yards vs Clemson and 90 yards rushing and 81 yards receiving and scored 2 touchdowns vs USC in the Gator Bowl.
SAF Kaj Sanders of Oradell, NJ has an official visit with USC set for June 2nd among his scheduled officials. The others are with Wisconsin May 30th, North Carolina June 9th, Miami June 18th and Penn State June 23rd. He plans to announce on July 30th.
OL Ni Mansell, a transfer from Mercer who visited USC on Monday and has a PWO offer, said he is planning to accept that offer from the Gamecocks over some FCS offers that have come his way since entering the Portal. He said he has to wait until being admitted to the University before announcing his plans.
USC offered DE Quintavius Johnson (6-5 244) of Atlanta. He also has offers from Kentucky, LSU, Georgia State, UAB, NC State, Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Cincinnati and UConn.
USC has also handed out offers to 2025 DE London Merritt (6-3 230) of Atlanta, 2025 WR Daylon Singleton (5-10 165) of DeSoto, TX, 2026 DT Daverin Geralds (6-3 250) of Suwanee, GA, 2026 WR Dyzier Carter (6-0 180) of Mineral, VA and 2026 RB Savion Hiter (5-11 190) of Mineral, VA.
Clemson is set for an official visit from WR Cam Coleman of Phenix City, AL on June 2nd. He told On3 he has also set an official visit with LSU for June 23rd. Auburn, Kentucky, Florida State and Georgia are some others strong with him. He visited Auburn and Texas A&M for their spring games and plans to visit Georgia next weekend for the first time.
2025 Belton-Honea Path RB Marquise Henderson was offered by East Carolina. He also has offers from Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, Charlotte, Liberty and Virginia Tech.
