Newberry was very good again in 2022 winning a share of the South Atlantic Conference championship, but the Wolves were not selected for the D2 Playoffs. Despite the losses of standout quarterback Dre Harris and running back Mario Anderson Jr., coach Todd Knight is confident his team will be right back in the thick of the conference race in 2023, and back in the playoffs as well.
