The USC baseball team battled the books during this exam week with no midweek game. The Gamecocks will return to Founders Park Friday night to open a three-game series with Auburn hoping to build on the momentum coming off a sweep of Florida that propelled them to #1 in the RPI.
Head coach Mark Kingston said first baseman Gavin Casas will return to the lineup tomorrow night, and third baseman Talmadge LeCroy is day to day. Pitcher Noah Hall and second baseman Will McGillis remain out.
Thursday afternoon, Kingston and pitching coach Justin Parker met with the media to talk more about their team and the series with Auburn.
