6-8 Wofford transfer BJ Mack wrapped up his official visit to USC Sunday, and while he did not announce a commitment to the Gamecocks, he did announce he is finished with his official visits and will now take a few days to make a decision. Mack, who began his career at USF, also took official visits to LSU, Alabama and Iowa. He had also considered Arkansas. “I have now visited all the schools I’m considered and have gathered all the information I need to make a decision,” Mack posted on his Twitter account. “Over the next couple of days, I will be huddling up with my family who will help support me in deciding where I will attend school next year.” Mack went on to request privacy as he and his family meet about the decision.
USC and Clemson target 6-4 Austin Swartz was offered by Georgetown, Indiana, St. John’s and Seton Hall.
6-5 Sakima Walker of NW Florida JC made an official visit to USC recently. She has also visited Ole Miss. She started her career at Rutgers. Last season she averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game and was named the NJCAA National Player of the Year.
USC women’s target DePaul transfer Aneesah Morrow made an official visit to Southern Cal over the weekend.
Former Legacy Early College 6-9 Perry Smith Jr; is transferring from Vermont to NC Central per Jeff Goodman. He averaged 2 points and 2 rebounds per game last season for the Catamounts.
6-2 Brayon Freeman is transferring from Rhode Island to Coastal Carolina. He averaged 14 points and 3 assists per game last season.
OT Casey Poe of Lindale, TX named a top eight and has Clemson on his short list. The others are Baylor, Oklahoma, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Texas Tech. He visited Clemson for their junior day March 11th.
USC offered WR Joseph McVay (6-1 180) of Earle, AR. Last season he had 69 catches for 1573 yards and 22 touchdowns. His other offers include Penn State, Vanderbilt, Penn State, Tulane, Colorado State and Tulsa.
USC QB commitment Dante Reno and LB commitment Wendell Gregory have set their official visits for June 23rd.
Northwestern RB Turbo Richard was offered by Boston College.
2025 DT Amare Adams of Lake City visited Alabama Saturday.
2025 WR Pedro Reyes of Cardinal Newman was offered by West Virginia.
