#STRecruiting Notebook 4-14

Friday morning at 9:00 Dillon OT Josiah Thompson (6-7 290) will make his college commitment known.  Thompson plans to reveal his decision during a gathering in the school auditorium. Thompson has had a final six of USC, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Miami and Florida.  He has been a regular visitor to USC dating back to camp in 2022.  His most recent visits were for the junior day on January 21st and for a spring practice March 14th.  Thompson’s father was a walk-on offensive lineman with the Gamecocks when Brad Scott was the coach. He also went to Clemson for a junior day in January. Last year he made unofficial visits to USC, Clemson, Miami and Alabama.

USC made the top five with 2024 WR Parker Livingstone of Lucas, TX. The others are LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and Arkansas. He has visited LSU and Texas A&M this spring. Last season Livingstone caught 52 passes for 908 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Clemson is in the top five with LB Joseph Phillips of Shorter, AL. The others are Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia and Texas A&M. He visited Clemson for their junior day Marh 11th.

2025 QB Deuce Knight (6-4 190) of Lucedale, MS plans to visit USC Saturday. He has offers from Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Louisville and USF. He has also visited Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee and Southern Miss.

2025 WR/DB CJ Earl of White Knoll will visit Virginia this weekend. He visited Syracuse last weekend.

6-7 Vanderbilt transfer Myles Stute will visit USC thus weekend per John Whittle/TheBigSpur. Stute is also involved with Pitt and UC Santa Barbara.
